Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Kermo uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, improve user experience, and provide analytical information.
Cookies We Use
Kermo uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Strictly Necessary (always on, no consent required)
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| accessToken | User authentication (JWT) | 15 minutes |
| refreshToken | Refresh authentication session | 7 days |
| preferredLang | Remember your language preference | 1 year |
| kermo:branchId | Active branch context for multi-branch users | 1 year |
| kermo:theme | Light / dark theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie) | Until cleared |
Functional / Analytics (consent required, off by default)
We currently do not use analytics or marketing cookies. If we add them in the future (e.g. for product analytics or A/B testing), they will appear here and require explicit consent via our cookie banner.
Third-Party Cookies
On our payment checkout pages and customer billing portal, our payment processor Paddle.com Inc. may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and session management. See Paddle's Cookie Policy.
Managing Cookies
You can control non-essential cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing your browser cookies at any time. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly (you will not be able to log in).
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies via their settings. See:
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
